About Us
If you want to
know what’s great about an area – ask the
locals! And that’s just who you’ll talk to
at the Matakana Information Centre.
Our group of
enthusiastic volunteers, who are passionate
about where they live, work and play, are at
the centre seven days per week to help you
with information and suggestions. They are
happy to share their local knowledge to make
visitors’ stay in the area memorable.

find us
The Information
Centre is located in the foyer of the
Matakana Cinemas complex, on the corner of
Matakana and Matakana Valley Roads, right in
the centre of the village.
Parking is
available outside or in the village car park
(entrance on Matakana Valley Rd near the
church).

till late, with personal assistance
available between 10am & 1pm every day.

become a supporter

displayed or retained at the centre?
It’s easy to
become a supporter,
just fill in the Matakana Information Centre
Application form and forward to us
with your payment and the brochures or
information that you wish to have displayed. $95 to 31
October 2011.
Do you want to
add a second business? Complete the
Secondary Business form.
$50 to 31 October 2011.

How to
become a volunteer
Volunteers spend
about two mornings a month manning the desk
at the centre, answering queries, helping
visitors and keeping displays current.
Full training is provided. It’s easy to
become a volunteer. Just send us an email
and we will be in touch to arrange an
interview.
