following the signs to Matakana for
approximately 7kms.
From Whangarei: Take State
Highway One to Warkworth, turn left
in to
Matakana Road, following the signs

Getting around
While a car is recommended for
getting the most from our beautiful
area there are a few options for
getting around once you are here.
There are buses from Auckland, and the north, to
Warkworth, however they do not go into
Matakana.
