Within the Matakana Coast area's relaxing

riverside town and numerous villages each

The development of Matakana is a fairly recent
phenomenon. This once rural village with
only a few services is now the home of a
boutique cinema complex, a range of
sophisticated shops and galleries, a
purpose-built Farmer's Market, iconic public
toilets......and more.
A lovely family area, Matakana has a range of water
and land activities for all ages. Yachties
and bach owners have enjoyed the pleasures
